Tribe name for distant relatives: Elja Djt-maroucRaven is a middle child to a large family of Viera who decided to live a life away from the clan. Raised in Old Sharlayan, he, like the rest of the family, showed gifts when it came to knowledge. All of the family sought to nurture these gifts. Some became lawyers. Others accountants. In his case, he chose to be a doctor, finding a hole in current advancements in science and knowing his long life can help benefit this.But don't mistaken this for Raven being generous. He is well paid for a surgeon because he is so shrewd, incredibly rich, and relishes in it. He may be an excellent surgeon, his revolutionary ways of using his healing and aether to assist in his surgery is saving lives, but it's not because he wants to change the world. Strangely, his detachment is what makes him a good practitioner. And when it matters, he is a lot more empathetic than people give him credit for.

He's tall and stocky, but while he looks incredibly fit because of his work, and he is strong, he lacks stamina because he doesn't really...well, want to move. He's not an adventurer at any stretch. There is a small mole beneath his left eye, he calls it his charm point. Raven has bitchy resting face and that's the way he likes it. He is confident in his looks and he maintains it.

Jobs: All healing jobs. Raven is much more studious than he looks because he is able to absorb knowledge, and so he learns just so he can know how to improve his scientific medical skills. If he had to personally choose one, he would pick the first healer job he learnt: Sage. That being said, his family has had generations of magic in their bloodline, and so he is talented in molding white magic and conjury. He marries this talent into his healing.As for combat jobs, he is proficient in anything that uses a blade or a gun. He's strong, so he can throw a punch easily.However, he has no stamina and cannot be an adventurer for long stretches of time. It's only when the hand is forced and he's called to be a medic. He's not heartless enough to refuse when he's needed. Surgeries for hours does not suffer this stamina problem.Disciple of Hands and Lands: Raven can dabble in these as a hobby, but the only one he is interested in is alchemy, as he's a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine in the Studium. He is beginning to communicate with the metalwork guilds to improve the utensils used in surgery.Skills: Raven's preference is being in his practice or the infirmary because he's a savant with the scalpel, and a decent general practitioner (more than people give him credit for). He's adept at using both aether and surgical skills together, said to be done by intuition.
